1960s Silvertone Model 1448, Amp in Case Works
This rare 1960s Silvertone Model 1448 is an interesting piece, having a 3-watt tube amp built inside of its case and the guitar body being made out of Masonite, but it is also known for being the guitar that Jimi Hendrix himself learned to play on.
This guitar is in good condition for its age. there is some noticeable playing wear on the sides of the neck and a few scratches and dings throughout the body. All blemishes on the guitar have been recorded in the photos. The amp in the case actually works! That is a huge plus for this piece. The amp runs at 3 watts so it is not loud and does not have much headroom but it is all-original.
